PBIS Points

When expected behavior is met, students will receive their earned points for participation in the weekly activity. Teachers record the points and provide frequent feedback to students regarding points earned and what they need to work on.Points sheets will be given on the second to last day of the school week for completion and turned in on the way out of school.

Q. WHAT IS THE FIRST THING THAT NEEDS TO BE DONE?

Teachers are expected to teach students the G.R.O.W.L expectations. When these behaviors are exhibited in the classroom, in the hall, or at lunch, the students are rewarded using Tiger Bucks.

  • G : On Time and In Uniform
  • R : Appropriate language and hand to Yourself
  • O : Do own work and electronics are off.
  • W : Be ready to work and Participate in Class
  • L : Complete assignments and be Cooperative

Q. HOW DO TEACHERS RECORD POINTS?

Teachers often provide frequent feedback to students regarding points earned and what they need to work on.Points sheets will be given on the second to last day of the school week for completion and turned in on the way out of school.
